On election night, as Trump was declared the winner ...
I saw Post after Post from Liberal friends declaring Life was over, their financial investments ruined, their retirement nest egg would be gone, and just what were they going to do ???
Well the DOW just zoomed past 20,000 !
It has been on a Non-Stop incline since Trump was named President .... those in Business and in the Investment world get what is happening .... WE HAVE A BUSINESS MAN IN CHARGE!
The elitist, power hungry, interest group captive Establishment is being blown up and that is what our economy and Americans needed to get things going again.
So tell me ....those who professed doom and gloom ? You have claimed for years to be so much smarter than those of us who you term are conservative, captilist pigs ... what in the world is happening ?
I can tell you what I know his happening .... YOUR PORTFOILIO , YOUR RETIREMENT NEST EGG , AND YOUR FINANCIAL SECURITY HAS INCREASED EXPONENTIALLY SINCE TRUMP WON ON NOVEMBER 8TH ...

Where is all the Hope and Change we heard about in 2008?
I sit here in snowy Michigan on a Saturday morning ... and having been busy in my corporate world this week, I'm just now catching up on the week of news and current events ....
> the admission by Chicago that 2016 talied 792 murders, more than NYC and LA combined
> 4 angry Black young adults bound and torture a challenged white youth yelling racial slures and using hateful Trump verbage while committing this Hate Crime
> another shooting at a public place, this time the Ft. Lauderdale Airport, killing 5 and wounding 8, and leaving 10,000 travelers in a state of panic
So I ask myself .... what happened to that euphoria of having our first Black President that was going to change the world? What happened to the Hope and Change that had the media and every Liberal in America experiencing that tingle running up their leg? What happened to the belief that race relations, and world peace, and world security were all going to be obtainable with the " Amazing Barack" at the helm?
What happened?
It's pretty obvious my friends ....
It was all hype !!! All self contrived BS! You don't go from a local activist, to a State Senator, then back into a Federal Senator position ... make a egotistical Convention speech and then spend all the rest of your time campaigning for the White House without a lot of smoke and mirrors. He was created by people behind the curtain ... big liberal progressive donors, the liberal media, and of course the Hollywood elite. The world of Academia was behind him, the misinformed Union bosses, and of course the mislead minorities who actually believed he was going to help them.
What have we gotten ....
> a smoke and mirrors economy totally propped up by the infux of cash by the Fed's
> a Justice system that is a joke
> a Congress that couldn't agree on anything so Obama resorted to Executive Orders that smelled of Totalitarianism
> an Affordable Health Care program rammed thru that has been a disaster for the insurance industry , the medical world, and the Middle Class .... did we get those who were uninsured insured .... YES, but at what expense? The expense has been on the backs of the Middle Class as we've watched our costs spiral and our care be diminished. Keep your own Doctor he said .... BULLSHIT ! Keep your Plan ... BULLSHIT! Watch your premiums be reduced for the average family by $2,500 .... BULLSHIT! Its been a complete and utter failure .... and anyone who doesn't admit that has drank so much of the liberal Kool Aid they are beyond recovery.
> Terrorism is at the worst level since 9-11. The Middle East is a disaster. Iran and North Korea are racing towards Nuclear capable Weapons
> Race relations, inner city violence, hate crimes, poverty, unemployment levels for minorities are at the worst levels in decades
So what does this tell us?
That voting Ideology over substance doesn't work!
Is Trump an outrageous choice for President .... maybe .... but he is an Outsider, and our Government needs a new approach. As we say in business its time to KICKASS and TAKE NAMES.
Whether its an ENEMA, or DRAINING the SWAMP ....Washington DC and its cronieism and power broker mentality need a Makeover!
And America needs to wake up and quite passifying people, worrying about hurting someone's feelings or being politically correct, or profiling ....
WE NEED TO SOLVE THESE ISSUES!
Stop posting about how sad you are about the Obama's leaving the White House
Stop posting about the Obama's having a great marriage and no scandals
Stop posting about how Sanctuary Cities show great compassion
We are in trouble people ... the majority of America gets that .... which is why someone like Trump got elected.
We all better face the music, roll up our sleeves, start respecting each other and realize that we can make a difference and quit relying on our Government to solve all our problems .... because all they do is create more!
You want less murders in Chicago ...let the police and a real Justice Department attack the problem .... and don't get caught up in what color the criminals are, just that they are criminals.
You want security in the World .... name the enemy and eliminate the enemy!
You want a real economy .... get Government regulation out of our house and our businesses and let America thrive again
You want peace in the Middle East .... help your allies and quit giving billions to our enemies
You want to reduce Debt .... increase Revenue, leave money in people and businesses pockets to reinvest and expand our tax base
We've had the power all along to Make America Great ... which just lost sight of our way, misplaced our values and our priorities!
Time for Action ..... the handwringing and pouting stops now !

Welcome ....
to Perspectively Speaking by Hanson
I'm making a change in 2017 .... I'm not going to stop my political commentary or insight, nor am I going to compromise or back down on my strong beliefs in what is truth and what is fiction when it comes to the Media. However I am going to limit this commentary to this Blog. FB is becoming a place where friends and family have become polorized because of the last 8 years, and the recent election. I still feel that dicusssion and debate is critical to arrive at the right balance of what is fact versus fiction, but I am making an effort by utilizing this Blog to keep it in a forum where people want to be here and engage versus being hit in the face with daily commentary with either little interest or no interest at all.
So I will still use FB as notification to check out this Blog ... making occassional references to the link plus my link to my Belt Doctor Blog as well ....but if you want to go and read or participate, you will have to make that choice.
I know this will be a relief to many family and friends that think of me as the cranky old guy in the corner who always has an opinion... while that may be true, and it may not align with your stances or beliefs on issues, at least I do have an active interest in wanting our Country to live up to the opportunities and standards that I was able to take advantage of as I grew up, so I will continue to fight for that and voice my opinion .... good, bad, or indifferent - I'm not going away, just a different venue and a selective choice to participate.
I hope you visit, I hope we can debate in a mature and friendly manor...and above all I value all my family and friends, regardless of our politics or leanings. Life is made up of diverisity and uniqueness .... that's what is so precious about America. Freedom of choice, Freedom of speech, Freedom of religion ... all under a Constitution that protects our rights and protects our Republic.
